The company was five times offered for sale in the tender. In the last asking price was 37 million zł. After the fifth tender judge supervising the bankruptcy Autosanu agreed to sell the factory with a free hand.
  Autosan employs 300 people 
   
 Autosan buses in addition also  produces parts for trams and booths for trains;  currently employs approx. 300 persons. 
Factory received last year approval for production SANCITY city buses with engines that meet the most stringent emissions standard Euro 6. The plant can produce approx. 300 pieces of these vehicles a year.
Autosan SA is one of the oldest factories in Poland; its origins date back to 1832. Since 2001. the company began to design and produce components of rail vehicles, especially body railway buses and trams; She cooperated with companies Pesa Bydgoszcz, Newag from Nowy Sacz and the Poznan repairer Rolling Stock.
HSW SA is one of the country’s largest producers of military equipment. Manufactures self-propelled howitzers, armored personnel carriers and rocket launchers. In turn, the PIT-Radwar is a Warsaw company that – like HSW – belongs to the PGZ, works in the radar.
