PGNiG in June will receive LNG from Qatar and Norway – Banker

Polish Oil and Gas Company in June will receive LNG from Qatar and Norway. The first ship terminal in Swinoujscie will arrive on June 17, under contract from Qatar. Second, ordered on the basis of spot Statoil, is scheduled for June 25 – PGNiG reported.

 
 
 
 
 

On Monday, 23 May ended examination of the tenders on the spot market LNG cargo delivered to Swinoujscie in June and July.


 

“It was decided to purchase the first cargo of Norwegian company Statoil, which has submitted the most advantageous offer. About 140 thous. Tons of LNG (84 million cubic meters. Gas network) will be delivered from the Norwegian port Snohvit ship ‘Arctic Princess’, whose arrival in Swinoujscie is scheduled for June 25, “- the company said in a statement.

 

At the same time due to the earlier start of performance by the LNG terminal in Swinoujscie the company has decided to accelerate the supply of LNG to Swinoujscie in the framework of long-term contract with Qatargas.
 

“In this regard, 17 June 2016. Qatargas will deliver to Swinoujscie cargo of LNG as part of a long-term contract from 2009 (ship Al-Neuman, 206,000 tons of LNG, equivalent to 124 million m3 of gas network)” – given in the report.

 

Another delivery Qatar PGNiG under this agreement will be implemented in mid-July 2016 according to the annual supply plan agreed between PGNiG and Qatargas. (PAP)
