The three objectives of the program
She emphasized that implementation of the program “500+ Family” guided three basic goals. – The first objective – pronatalistyczny predicts that the program will involve an increase in the number of births by 278 thousand. – Are own estimates of the Ministry based on the forecast of GUS – said the minister. It is planned as saying that in the next 10 years, the fertility rate will increase from 1.29 to 1.6.

The third objective of the program is, as she said, the reduction of poverty among children. – According to our estimates, the implementation of the provision of educational poverty could fall by 3 percentage points, whereas the risk of poverty among children and young people up to the age of 17 will fall from 23.3 to 11 percent. – Argued.

Members of Law and Justice praised the program, pointed out the benefits gained families in their regions, keep reminding the current opposition, that same ruling eight years, has not introduced a similar program – on the contrary, to neglect the interests of families. The opposition, in turn, pointed out among other things that the government during the work on the law introducing the “500+” did not include any amendments and comments of the opposition.
During the debate, questions were asked why not all local governments have already begun to pay benefits, the problems associated with the payments reported by the community, why it happens, that benefit is occupied by bailiffs. Lidia Burzyńska (PiS) indicated that the benefit is not protected from being executed when the impact on the cash bakowy and asked whether the Ministry intends to do something about it. Monika Rosa (Modern), asked why the allocated large funds for the promotion of the program, and if so – including thanks to the media – we all know about it. Izabela Mrzygłocka (PO) asked if the program does not affect dezaktywująco women, whether in connection with the introduction it is not observed increase in the number of unemployed.
Rafalska announced that the program is monitored, but so far can not say how It has an impact on the labor market or economy. – Only at the end of June we will be able to take the first attempt to assess, for now we have insufficient data – she said.
Referring to the cost of the promotion program, Rafalska announced that the production of television spots cost 100 thousand. zł, while 2.5 million zł – airtime and their emissions.
