Treasury wants to convene EGM JSW – Banker

The head of the Treasury wants to convene an extraordinary general meeting in JSW. Minister Wlodzimierz Karpinski came up with such a request to the board of the mining company in which for nearly two weeks now strike. The unions are demanding dismissal of the President of JSW Zagórowskiego Jaroslaw, who they believe is responsible for the disastrous financial results of the company.

 

Minister Wlodzimierz Karpinski wants to convene an extraordinary general meeting took place in as soon as possible – IAR says Agnieszka Jablonska-quark, a spokeswoman for the Treasury. The agenda would be the adoption of a resolution on changes in the composition of the Supervisory Board and the changes in the status of the company. “It aims to strengthen the supervision of the supervisory board at the company JSW” – says a spokeswoman.
 
 
 

The Treasury calls to the union to suspend the strike, return to talks and to extract – adds Agnieszka Jablonska-quark.


 

Today, the seat of JSW in the Hawk-Zdroj protesters clashed with police miners. Officers have used pepper spray, water cannons and smooth-bore weapons. As a result of the riots 12 people were injured, including six policemen. There is also a number of detainees.


 

Tomorrow rotating strike is to replace the occupation. This means th at the miners after their changes will not come out of the mine.
