This year’s auction horses in Janow was not the worst ever in terms of revenue. On the Pride of Poland we managed to acquire 1.27 million, while the weakest in 2003, only 772 thousand. euro. The average price per horse for this year is 80 thousand. zł – is higher than the average of recent years. The worst in history but was the percentage of horses sold.
During this year’s horse auction in Janow Podlaski Pride of Poland sales revenue reached 1.27 million zł. Auction raised a lot of controversy, and one of its consequences was the resignation of Vice President of the Agricultural Property Agency of Charles Tylendy responsible for its organization.
Many critics have pointed out that the revenues from the auction were outrageously low – more than three times lower than in the previous year, when reached 4 million. However, last year was a record, and against the auction of the previous years, this year’s auction was not quite the worst.
As it turns out, the size of this year’s auction revenue was ranked in 10th place in the last 14 years. Worse results came in the years 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2010.
