The 73-year-old Charczenko demanded bribes for reinstatement at the University of Aviation one of the previously released academics. He demanded for 170 thousand. euro. Detectives NABU caught it when received from the intermediary the first part of this sum.
 

During the search of the house Charczenki found about 5 million hryvnia in different currencies: 120 thousand. euro 50 thousand. a $ 3 thousand. pounds sterling. The professor also had 9 gold bars weighing from 2 to 20 grams.
 

If corruption is proven Charczence, he can hear the sentence of eight to 12 years imprisonment with confiscation of property and obtain a ban on holding positions in state institutions for up to three years.
