Vice-Chancellor of Germany: Negotiations ws. TTIP is a flap, but no one wants to admit it – Wprost.pl

 According to the German policy, which lasted from 2013 to talk about the Transatlantic Partnership in Trade and Investment (TTIP) failed. According to the original plan, the framework, the conclusion of negotiations would take place by the end of 2016. Sigmar Gabriel, however, does not see a chance for a positive closing talks. – Things are not moving on this front – he said briefly.
 

 - Negotiations with the United States de facto failed, because we Europeans do not want to surrender to American demands – he explained. He admitted that during the 14 rounds of negotiations, none of the parties did not agree to even a single chapter 27 discussed. Vice Chancellor regrets that the talks stalled, even though “no one really wants to admit it.”
 

 Transatlantic Partnership on Trade and Investment is a project, talking about creating a common free trade area between the United States and the European Union. Polish Economy Ministry calculates that the benefits of signing and implementation of TTIP, according to the estimates of the European Commission, among others, rise in the EU additional 2.5 million jobs and economic effects in the amount of 119 billion euros per year for the EU and 95 billion for the US.
