Applications for benefits from the program 500 plus is free, you can not request money for helping their deposit or filling – stressed Wednesday boss MRPiPS Elizabeth Rafalska. Also, an application through the bank will be free.

On Wednesday, on behalf of the Ministry of family labor and social policy Rafalska signed an agreement with PKO Bank of Polish implementation of the program “Family 500 plus” through electronic banking.
She assured that MRPiPS doing all that when you start the program, when the number of applications will probably be very large, it was possible to apply different channels: direct in the community, through the mail, through the portal emp @ tia led by MRPiPS, portal of electronic services ZUS, ePUAP and – what is new when it comes to settling official matters online – electronic banking.
– It’s a whole new approach to contacts on the line citizen-government – said Deputy Minister of the family Bartosz Marczuk.
PKO BP is the first bank to join the program, but probably not the last.
– In the coming days another banks have to submit their declarations as to participate in the program – said Marchuk. CEO of PKO BP Zbigniew Jagiello added that he is in contact with the presidents of other banks, and knows that many of them are planning to join the program.
Rafalska stressed that the request for the provision of program 500 plus is free and you can request money for downloading, assistance in completing and submitting. However, there are pages on which are offered this type of service. – We will not watch idly while trying to extort money – declared.
Marchuk warned that in this way, phishing is not only money, but also personal and warned against the use of such sites.
Jagiello assured that the submission of an application through the bank will be free; announced that the bank’s employees will be provided the necessary information.
Rafalska pointed out that now for the launch of the program is responsible to a large extent self-government. Today announced that it has completed the phase of training local government employees by representatives of the Ministry. Trainings were conducted in all provinces, a total of 3740 people were trained. MRPiPS also prepared manuals which all persons participating in the training were given.
Marchuk added that the manual is published on the websites of the Ministry and is constantly updated (last update – March 2).
He pointed out that through training conducted by the Ministry of the free and the man-governments have saved approx. 2 million zł. – I really subjectively treat our partners with governments, we do everything possible to smoothly entered into the program – he added.
Rafalska upheld the declaration of co-operation with local authorities and the ministry assured that this is not an empty declaration. – If any government raises the need for additional training, I think the service provincial governors are ready to take such training – assessed.
The Minister of the family announced that next week will begin the next stage of implementation of the program – the leadership of the Ministry will set off to the provinces on meeting with governors. – We will have to keep information on the monitoring of the state of preparation of local governments to payments. In some meetings, participation will take the mayors – we are talking about these larger cities, because there the service of the sentence will be more difficult because of the number of requests – she added.
– The number of applications at the beginning will surely be very large, we do everything that already from the start of the program the opportunity proposals was omni – assured.
Marchuk reminded that the submission of the first application is three months, so no need to rush – you can submit the application to the end of June and will receive a provision of compensation from April 1.

Answers to the most frequently raised issues will be published on the website of the Ministry. Besides, every Thursday the ministry shall publish on its website a kind of handbook about the program, which presents the most important information.
Thanks to the program “Family 500 plus’ families will receive the provision of education in the amount of 500 zł per month for each second and subsequent children and if you meet the income criteria (800 zł per family or 1200 in the case of children with disabilities) – also on the first. The benefit will be paid only until the child 18 years. The program has to move on April 1. From this day you will apply.
