EIB praises plan Morawiecki – Puls Biznesu

The stream euro, which flows into Polish from the European Investment Bank (EIB) – only in the last year we got a variety of projects over EUR 5.5 billion – do not dry up in the coming years.

– This year we will probably financed projects for at least the same amount. Much will depend on the new investment plan of the government. I have read the presentation prepared by the Prime Minister Morawiecki, but are crucial detail – he says in an interview with “PB” László Baranyay, EIB Vice-President, who during his visit to Poland two weeks ago had the opportunity to ask those responsible for economic policy, on what support the bank count.

Mateusz Morawiecki, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of development, already presented the economic priorities of the new ruling team. Industry and innovation are to have a greater share in the GDP, the expansion of foreign home business to get state support and development to be more socially equitable and regionally. Expenditures for this are to be found not only in the public hand, the government also wants to mobilize private capital. Not only in the country but also abroad.

– Poland needs more investment, and with this I fully agree. The development program is very interesting, but very vague. We are waiting for information on what areas the government wants to work with the EIB to pursue it – says László Baranyay. The government’s development plan explicitly written that Poland has a chance to become one of the main beneficiaries of the plan Juncker and EU investment bank. The condition is that the company’s treasury must intensify work on the preparation of projects and private business should be aware that it can reach the money. Almost everything that was on the list of priorities, has a chance of obtaining the loan from the EIB.
