Millions on the Polish underground and train hybrid. The government is investing in the rail industry – Money.pl

National Centre for Research and Development awarded Bydgoszcz Pesi grant of nearly 24.5 million zł for the development of a prototype subway train. Polish underground trains

When it comes to the amount of funding, Bydgoszcz Pesa is the second most generously donee company (after General Electric Company Poland, which received 31.5 million zł to work on the technology for possible use in the construction of engine turboprop).

Pesa, in turn, got 24.5 million zł subsidies to worth 60 million zł project enabling plant he wants to build a subway train. Under the terms of the grant NCBR, Pesa is expected to start work next month. The prototype subway train is to be ready in 2018. – Detailed technical objectives of the project not yet made public – says Michał money.pl Żurowski, a spokesman for the company.

The first train hybrid

On the train is planned approx. 170 seats and 160 standing. The value of the investment is 38.5 million zł. The first work on the project producer announced in the second half of 2016 years. Construction of the module will drive in 2017. Newag produces new warehouses with a view to Poland, but the company does not rule out presenting them outside the country.

Reindustrialization is one of the five pillars of the plan Mateusz Morawiecki, Minister for Development. Its aim is to support the Polish industry and increase investment. The plan is to expand the Polish economy and boost investment growth in GDP.
