Expenditures of foreigners in Poland increased by 6.4% in 2015 and Poles abroad by 2.7% – Money.pl

Expenditure of foreigners in Poland increased by 6.4% y / y to 37.7 billion zł in 2015. And foreign spending Poles – by 2.7% to 18.6 billion zł, the Central Statistical Office (GUS).

Compared to the previous quarter costs both foreigners and Poles were lower – by 16% and 38.4%, GUS also reported.

The average expenses incurred in Poland by a foreigner (non-resident) in the fourth quarter of 2015 r. they stood at 480 zł, while the average expenses incurred abroad by Polish citizen amounted to 309 zł.

the highest expenditures in Poland, taking into account the land border, have suffered foreigners crossing the border with Germany (40.3 % of total expenses of aliens crossing the land border Polish in the fourth quarter of 2015.), then the border with Ukraine (27.1%), the Czech Republic (11.2%), Belarus (7.9%), Slovakia (7.2%) , Lithuania (4.4%) and Russia (1.9%).
