Insurers subject polisolokaty – Polish Radio

So-called polisolokaty in recent years bought up to 5 million Americans. Much of the lost money and they can not be recovered. In April, Jaroslaw Kaczynski announced that it will release the Poles – as he put it – “from this bondage.” Insurers have decided not to wait with folded arms. With the newspaper that are working on a solution that will once and for all close the issue investment policies.

 

The tool will be agreements reached last year by 18 insurers with the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. They assume that customers will be able to cost-effective way to withdraw money from policyholders. Agreement covered less than 20 percent of the holders of the OCCP because he could not control products which are no longer on sale. In late July, Polish Chamber of Insurance presented, however, ready-made solution, which involves the extension of agreements on all holders of investment policies.
