Polish government awarded the 500 plus program – GazetaPrawna.pl

Award on behalf of the Government received the minister of family, work and social policy Elizabeth Rafalska the VIII European Conference of Large Families in Riga.

She pointed out that the objective of the program is to reduce the financial burden of families associated with raising children. He had also encourage Poles to make a decision to have a larger family.

As reported MRPiPS, Rafalska added that multidimensional support for families includes activities such as, among others, the development of services for families with children, holidays with the exercise of childcare, support for disabled people and their carers and to the stability of employment.

In a press CIR stressed that supporting Polish families is one of the priorities of the current government . It was recalled that in May during Family Week premier said that “the preparation and implementation of the program 500+ is the work of the whole team.”

As part of running from April 1, the government program “Family 500 plus” is paid to the provision of education in the amount of 500 zł per month for each second and subsequent children, and poorer families – also on the first. Support is also provided for all children in foster care.

The European Large Families Confederation (ELFAC) formally established in 2004. Gathering of the Association of Large Families in Europe. Confederation represents more than 50 million European citizens, who come from almost 9 million large families. Its main purpose is to represent the interests of economic and social families with children, especially large families.
