the government is considering linking the minimum pension to the level of deferred contributions to ZUS. 180 thousand. zł for men, 145 thousand. zł for women – is considered one of the variants of the new criterion. For comparison, a man to get the current minimum pension (880 zł), must collect ZUS 190 thousand. zł.

According to the existing regulations, in order to obtain a minimum benefit ZUS takes into consideration only the internship. The woman must be 22 and a man 25 years of contribution.

As learned DGP, the government is considering yet another option to have a new criterion of seniority. The second idea involves a minimum threshold of contribution as an alternative to the criterion of length.
