The Government does not leave the field for interpretation – unequivocally in favor of this, to reject the conditions imposed by the Union. Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras hopes that it will strengthen its negotiating position. And here can drive – Union representatives have cautioned that would be just the opposite.

Surveys show that supporters of approving the conditions of foreign creditors is slightly more than the opponents. According to the research institute Ipsos 44 percent. Greeks are going to vote for the agreement, and 43 per cent. – Against, 12 percent. were undecided.

What happens if the Greeks say: NOT

Skutki rejection by the Greek creditors’ conditions are difficult to predict. The government argues that this is not tantamount to leaving the euro zone by Greece. Creditors and senior EU politicians are no longer so sure.

The great strength are of course the French and Germans. They argue that the days of Greece in the eurozone – even if you reply “NO” – are not yet numbered. The problem, however, may be the Greeks themselves, who do not necessarily see their future payments in this currency. If the worst-case scenario come true and will be made in consequence of the referendum decision to return to the drachma, it’s for a few months in the Union will be one thing for sure: the mess and frequent meetings.

The result of the referendum on the” NO “may mean that without international aid in the coming weeks, Greece will have difficulties with debt service on the bonds short-term, and on July 20 likely will not be able to repay part of the debt owed to the ECB. The Bank may at any time be considered for Greek banks threatened with insolvency and cut off their support.

What happens if the Greeks say YES

If the Greeks accept conditions posed by the creditors, or answer “yes” in the referendum, it will not be a miracle cure for all the problems of this country. However, this will mean immediate talks on a new rescue plan for Greece with its existing creditors.

It is possible that there will be a new election or will create a cross-party government of national unity. With this second possibility may be a problem though – the coalition sounds good in theory, in practice it appears unlikely because it would have to find as Syriza, and the ruling at the moment the atmosphere in the country does not point to the possibility of harmonious cooperation between it and the opposition parties .

Referendum

polling stations in Greece will be open from h. 7 local time (hr. 6 in Poland) for hours. 19 (hr. 18 in Poland). The first results are expected an hour or two after the closing. Turnout threshold for the referendum to be valid, set at at least 40 percent. voters. However, due to the short time between the announcement of the referendum and its carrying many Greek voters abroad will not be able to vote.

Among the international commentators already created controversy wording of the questions that have to answer Greeks, as well as unusual arrangement cards vote: answer “no” was placed first, and the “yes” only as a second, below. The question that sent the world’s media, is however: “Should it be adopted plan agreement, which was submitted by the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund meeting of the Eurogroup on 25 June 2015 year, which consists of two parts, which are their common suggestions? “. The form has also cited the titles of the two parts.
