First WGI, then Finroyal and Amber Gold – a total of over 300 thousand. zł. So many lost Szymon Pilecki, a professor of PAN and retired colonel. – Another pyramid’m threatens everything we had with his wife, sunk – confesses. That’s why he went to the court battle, although it has been 91 years. Justice is looking at the Ombudsman, in the Senate, with the Minister of Justice, with Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the president, and even the European Commission.
We meet in Warsaw court against the judgment the second instance on the WGI Consulting. Then I find out who this man is. Act I, scandal 1. WGI
Adventure prof. Pilecki with the great financial scandals began in 2005. With a working mainly on the foreign exchange market Warsaw Investment Group, has already had the license to conduct brokerage activities. Professor in 2005 paid to WGI 68 thousand. zł. In 2006, the Securities and Exchange Commission (the predecessor of KNF) backed company licensed to conduct brokerage activities. The pyramid collapsed.
Some of the money was able to recover the professor. – WGI consisted requests for a refund of the money, but I got only about 5 thousand. zł. And later, after the recovery of money from investment WGI in the United States, still about 20 thousand. zł. Apart from this, I got an additional 20-30 thousand. the Compensation Scheme KDPW (National Depository for Securities – ed. ed.) – explains Professor.
All customers WGI lost a total of 340 million zł.
Act I, 2. affair Finroyal
After WGI investment in life prof. Pilecki there is another scandal. Of course, the professor still did not know.
– Ended we annual investment. We went to pick up the money. Previously, there was always a security guard who would let only people with passes. And as we went to apply for a refund of part of the money, when just ended annual investment, it turned out that the company does not exist – says in an interview with money.pl prof. Pilecki. It was 2012.
The professor lost in Finroyal a total of 155 thousand. zł and nearly 13 thousand. euro.
– We wpłacaliśmy a total of six or seven times. We had savings in different banks and how these deposits is ended, it przelewaliśmy money to Finroyal – says the professor. – Where interest rates were much higher than in banks, they gave even 12-15 per cent., And the banks are barely 5 percent. – Explains.
The difference is that the banks offered deposit. A parabanki, which was Finroyal only contracts tracking. This difference proved to be colossal.
– In March 2012, the Warsaw headquarters Finroyal on the John Paul II celebrated the fifth anniversary of the company. We were invited to this together with many clients. It was very well organized party with koniakami, cakes etc. It lasted a few hours. Some come, some go out. But all this was at a high level. The former speech promises great food, good spirits. Even going out, we got some gifts – says prof. Pilecki.
What was promised? – We got then a solemn opportunity to make another payment in connection with the entry of the next five years of existence. But after a few months it turned out that all this is nonsense – collapses hands professor.
Such people, who believed Finroyal, there were more than 1,700 in the whole Polish. In total, they lost more than 100 million zł.
– One day, customers began to storm the office Finroyal. As it turned out, that it is completely empty, some victims tried to bounce your receivables and carried the abandoned offices of the company’s computers and other equipment. From what I know, one of the clients has been accused of looting – said prof. Pilecki.
Act I, 3. Amber Gold affair
The collapse of the third pyramid do not have to wait long. Actually, at the same time as Finroyal, scandal broke Amber Gold. The company had to invest mainly in gold. Invested in the airline OLT Express, the owners – Martin P. and his wife Catherine P. I do not know what yet. Investigators have still not determined what happened to the rest of the money customers.
– There was a lot of publications, solicitations. Amber Gold he hung around the country huge advertising posters in Warsaw hung in front of the Central Station. I do not know what is the procedure and requirements to be able to publish such an announcement in the streets, but there were plenty of them – so prof. Pilecki explains how it happened, that was back parabanku, which lost money.
Amber Gold credibility built on the fact that their institutions had in representative parts of the city. In Warsaw, the company opened a branch on the street Kielce, almost across from the Financial Supervision Commission. It is KNF repeatedly reported to the prosecutor’s office that Amber Gold conducts banking business without a license.
The prosecutor’s office a long time did not respond. Too long. Prof. Pilecki lost Amber Gold 110 thousand. zł. The rest of the victims – 19 thousand. Amber Gold customers – 850 million zł.
