“This is a realistic outcome that provides clarity and certainty to all parties. The BP agreement regulates the most important obligations arising out of this tragic accident, “- said in a statement the president of BP, Bob Dudley.

“This agreement not only aligns our coast damage caused by the oil spill from the Deepwater Horizon, it will also continue Louisiana determined fight against coastal erosion,” – said the governor of Louisiana, Bobby Jindal.
