After a nine-week process, and the seven days of deliberations composed of five women and nine men a jury found that 35-year-old Hayes is guilty of all eight charges against him. They concerned the participation in the manipulation of Libor in 2006-2010.
The imposed punishment for the convict to 9 and half years in prison for acts committed at UBS and 4 and a half years for what he is guilty of working at Citibank. Both penalties will be applied one after the other.
