He stressed that the gesture required the skills of dialogue and compromise. – Trying to putting only on his always at the expense of someone else, often at the expense of Polish interests – said Bronislaw Komorowski, adding that he always believed in the will and power of dialogue.

The legislative initiative

The Council for Social Dialogue will be an independent body from the government. It is to have a legislative initiative – Solutions will be worked out by employers and trade unions. The government will be obliged to submit to the Sejm projects negotiated by the Council for Dialogue.

The presidency of the Council will be rotating – alternately by year this position was held by a representative of trade unionists, employers and the government. Board meetings are to be open. The law assumes that the current Tripartite Commission for Social and Economic Affairs will work until the appointment of the first Council for Social Dialogue.
